Great Diving Kept Simple - Thanks Arjen for review 49
During my two weeks in Cyprus I did 4 dives with John. He showed us some nice spots and the Zenobia is a must! All was very professional with good equipment. I want to thank John for the nice dives and highly recommend Marine Divers to all who are thinking of diving in Cyprus! I have seen a few dive centres during various vacations and Marine Divers is among the best! Keep up the good work Debbie en John.

Just returned from a holiday in Coral Bay which included a couple of days local diving and a trip to the Zenobia. I found Debbie and Jonny to be helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional, and as a fellow Padi Pro was more than happy in their application of safety standards and approachable manner. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I would be more than happy to recommend them to all.

Our two boys (ten and thirteen) had a fantastic time on the Discover Scuba Diving session. Debbie was excellent and took a lot of time to clearly outline all of necessary safety aspects before we even saw any water(very reassuring for anxious parents)!. The dive itself was hugely enjoyed by the boys. They were taken to a lovely secluded bay that was perfect for them. I would thoroughly recommend Marine Divers.

New For 2014!!!
Yesterday, we had 2 new flags, and said it was the first of many finishing touches still to be added, today we are pondering the next step, 3.5 by 1.5m LED Screen, a daily fly by from the Red Arrows, And at the end of the day, just before the shop closes Freddie Mercury performs we are the champions, followed by we will rock you. Bring it on!!!!!!

Passion, enthusiasm and totally customer focused = Marine Divers
I looked up scuba diving in Cyprus and marine divers immediately sprung out as the place I wanted to dive with. An email later, immediately replied to, and I was reassured I'd made the right choice. All six dives were completed in a professional, friendly, knowledgeable manner, Debbie and John are running their dive centre as centres should be run, with passion, enthusiasm and totally customer focused. The highlight of my holiday was without doubt my trip to the Zenobia wreck. Picked up at my hotel right on time, we were first on the dive boat getting the best spot. All kit meticulously prepared beforehand we were the first in the water descending to a fascinating wreck site. John knows his stuff on this wreck and both dives were superbly led and I had a wonderful time and saw all the main features and even some penetration diving through the accommodation. Back at the dock we were first off and I was back by the pool in paphos by 3.15. A truly amazing day out. Thanks to both of them for a great set of dives and good luck for the future.

Had four great relaxing dives last week with Debbie and Johnny around the coral bay area all guided in a very safe,profesional and relaxed atmosphere,this is how it should be done.
Choose these guys as you get treated as you would want when your on holiday and not like you are at a cattle market.
I travelled past at least four other dive centres to get there enough said apart from fact I will be going back.

I visited Coral Bay in mid July and completed my Advanced Open Water (PADI) with Marine Divers and then also went to dive the Zenobia with them.
Debbie and Jonny (and Sean) were excellent, always very knowledgable with any queries or questions but easy to get along with also. The Zenobia dive is something I will never forget and was an amazing experience that you must do (through Marine Divers) when visiting Cyprus.
If, or when, I headed back to Cyprus I would have no hesitation in diving again with Marine Divers.

I have just passed my Open Water course with Debbi and Jonny and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From my first nervous dive, right through to my 4th open water dive, they were extremely patient, but at the same time pushing me to succeed. Most of my dives were one to one with a couple of dives having one other learner. This made it very easy for me to get to grips with the skills at my own pace. They have definitely given me the taste for more dives. I do not normally put comments on TripAdvisor, but such was the experience with Marine Divers that I have made an exception.

Great dive on the Zenobia and a fantastic overall experience. Debbi and Jonny make the place so friendly and with no hassle. Anything that you need, they seem to have already thought about it and prepared it. IMHO, dive centers deffer in the owner's willingness to create a great experience and not just the dive and Marine Divers have a lot of that passion. You just feel at home.

Just returned from a little trip to Cyprus. Whilst I was there I wanted to do a few dives and spend a day diving on the Zenobia wreck. Looked around on line and found Marine Divers amongst a few others in Paphos. After a few emails I decided to book some dives for me and a discover scuba course for my girlfriend (who could not put her face in the water and is scared of fish!). I am so glad I chose Jonny and Debbie. For me, I had a dive to the Amphitheatre with Jonny which was a nice dive, whilst Debbie ran through the discover scuba with Izabela. In the afternoon I went with them for "the dive". Within 15 mins Debbie had Izabela swimming with her face in the water, breathing from the reg and even submerging a little. Within 30 mins they were scuba diving down to about 5 meters! Amazing! The patience and professionalism shown by Debbie was outstanding instilling trust and confidence in a scared, bordering on panicking student. Needless to say Izabela loved it and booked another follow-up dive the next day.
My dives with Jonny on the Zenobia were great. He was knowledgeable and professional but made the dives informative and fun. I need to go back and do a few more dives on the wreck later in the year.
If you fancy diving in Cyprus give Marine Divers a shout, you won't regret it.

TripAdvisor review No 32
Just completed a great trip to the Zenobia wreck and two shore dives earlier in the week with Marine Divers. This dive centre in my opinion is top of the list for Cyprus with both owners Jonny and Debbie having a great friendly place that makes you feel most welcome. Being a well travelled dive instructor, I have seen a lot of dive centres and this one is amongst the best. Local dive sites for sea caves and the amphitheatre are close by which allows for good diving for all levels of experience. Underwater scenery is magnificent although marine life is limited. I also had some of my own equipment problems which Jonny quickly stepped in and sorted this out otherwise I could have lost out on some dives, very much appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic.
We took our SSI Open Water certificates in Turkey July 2012 and wanted to complete some dives in Cyprus. It had been a year since we dived and after enquiring at Cydive in Pafos Harbour (Don't bother!!) they were adamant we had to take a formal refresher at 53euros! Marine Divers had no issue with that - Debbie and John happily went through a quick refresher with us and we were out! We had infact just turned up to try to suss out some diving for later in the week but one hour later, we were out at the Amphitheatre with John kitted up and ready to dive!
The centre are really so friendly and welcoming. We have done 4 dives so far and are back for a further 2 before our holiday ends. Felt like friends after 10mins with the guys. Don't go anywhere else!

“Truly brilliant!”
Taking the Open Water course under Debbie's and John's supervision wasn't just an efficient and interesting way of getting a licence to do something that I've been wanting to do for years, but also one of the most amazing holiday experiences I can recall. They're both really fun, cheerful, relaxed, patient, flexible, and willing to pass all their broad and impressive knowledge of marine life and scuba diving to everyone willing to immerse themselves in the mysterious underwater world. Debbie and John succeeded in creating a relaxed and cosy atmosphere in their centre (unlike in many other, "mass training" centres), which really helps when it comes to asking "silly questions", making mistakes, or having to repeat the same action for the 100th time. Moreover, it's likely you'll be taking the course alone/in small groups, which naturally creates a better learning environment. Having got a lot of diving experience, John and Debbie are reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable instructors one doesn't fear to trust even when diving in the open water for the first time in their life. I was impressed that both of them really try to understand their student's psyche, adjusting training to each individual- eg. I had huge troubles completing the skill of taking the mask off underwater and simply refused to do it. Thanks to Debbie, who calmed me down, gave me a day break from the task, and did simple exercises in the shallow water before the final attempt, I managed to complete my course and I am now a happy open water scuba diver :)! I really recommend this centre to everyone- if you're fascinated by the underwater world and scuba diving, I guarantee you'll be even more so after meeting Debbie and John :)!

29th Excellent!! Big thanks to Hayley and Russell
After having completed our open water course 6 months before our trip to Cyprus, we were a little nervous about getting back in the water. We immediately felt at ease with Jonny and Debbie and with their guidance got back into it with ease!
We were only planning on doing one dive with them while on holiday but we need up going back twice! The evening dive spotting a moray eel and finding the pots were highlights for us, not to mention the swim-through!
I cannot recommend this dive centre and Jonny and Debbie enough for both beginners and experienced divers. You can be sure your time with them will be fantastic and will not hesitate to go back to them when in Cyprus again!

As promised in my last review I returned to Marine Divers 2 weeks ago to, once again, be welcomed and treated like no-where else I have dived previously.
Jonny took me to White River near Lara Beach to experience 'The Cathedral' and to show me a dive site that I had not previously done.
Once again, Jonny was the perfect host showing professionalism and good knowledge of the site.
Later that week we went to the Zen again where I got great footage of our swim through. A great day!!
Debbi was, again as always, happy to accommodate anything that was presented to her during a difficult week due to the West Mediterranean storms aftermath that had disrupted the previous days. Still smiling, still helpful and always professional.
Marine Divers are a professional, helpful, accommodating, well equipped company that I would recommend to any diver, be it beginner of experienced and, you've guessed it, I look forward to seeing them again very soon.

The truth is I have deleted my last review which contained a typo and was not generous enough. I knocked off a star because the diving round Cyprus isn't great - with the exception of the celebrated Zenobia wreck. But that wasn't fair. This husband and wife team are a joy to dive with. They are relaxed and confident and use really good equipment. No, Cyprus diving is easy and uneventful, but what a great team to learn with, or to improve your skills with. If I dive again around Cyprus I will definitely dive with Marine Divers.

Our 24th Excellent Review on TripAdvisor!
My girlfriend and I were on holiday in Coral Bay in June '13 and I had decided before we went that I wanted to go scuba diving - had NEVER done it before! Googled 'diving in cyprus' and checked them out on trip advisor and decided they sounded like the best bet for amateurs like ourselves.
Was in contact with the instructors before we went on holiday and was very friendly- booked our slot via their website after discussion on their facebook page - which is monitored regularly.
Safe to say, we were not disappointed!!! Was a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE and we managed to do a good few hours with them one morning. Our instructor, Johnny, came with us and we had a little bit of a theory/safety brief beforehand, and shown how to use the kit - all was explained thoroughly and clearly! Then we went for our dive- which was brilliant. Johnny was with us the whole time and helped my gf with any difficulties she had to begin with.
I can thoroughly recommend these for a friendly, chatty, welcoming dive experience from people who really know what they're doing. Its a great family-owned dive centre not a big company. Also, they are British which makes understanding instructions really easy!!! Really want to go again!!!! Dont worry if you've got no experience diving, the instructors are really patient and helpful and will help COMPLETE beginners and get you diving!! Thanks guys! :)

23rd Excellent Review!!
I have to say, choosing Marine divers was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. My partner and i had such a great time with Jonny and Debbi, we weren't just customers to them, more like friends, and that was clear from the moment we walked into the dive centre. My partner did her discover scuba dive with Debbi and enjoyed it so much she came back for a 2nd dive. As for myself, i'd always wanted to dive the Zenobia, and i have to say i was one of the best dives i've done, a great experience and one i'll never forget. A big thanks to Jonny and Debbi for their help, support and for just making it a fantastic time.

In the very safe hands of Jonny and Sean we quickly found ourselves under the beautiful clear waters of the Med off the coast of Paphos in Cyprus and experiencing a wonderful new world. The whole team, including Debbie of course, made sure that we received the best few hours possible. Excellent - a big 10/10 for all.
